Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's Food Network Challenge: Last Cake Standing Page

  • Monster Cakes
Eight enthusiastic cake designers receive their first task: form two teams to create two original monsters of epic proportions in 12 hours. And if they haven't come prepared to create such a huge cake, they will have to scramble to get to a hardware store in order to build a better beast. A game-changing twist sends one competitor home at the end of the competition. Reigning Last Cake Standing champion, Mary Maher, serves as guest judge.

  • Cakes Got Talent
The seven remaining competitors take a field trip to the Bluebird Theater where they embark upon an exciting but complicated challenge: create a top-notch cake for a talent show in only eight hours. The competitors must quickly purchase the materials they need to make their cakes dance and sing before transporting the cakes to the theater. If their cakes survive commute, the competitors will each have a moment to perform with their cakes in front of an audience. The audience and judges, including Broadway actress Kate Shindle, determine whose cake is best.

  • 50th Anniversary Of Marvel's Fantastic Four
The competition heats up when the six remaining competitors must design over-the-top cakes inspired by Marvel's classic comic book series, The Fantastic Four. Midway through the competition, the competitors are challenged to create two more cakes that celebrate the series. While the judges determine which cake designer should be sent home, the remaining five competitors learn they'll be heading to Las Vegas for the final three competitions.

  • Magic Cakes
Since Las Vegas is a city of big spectacles and world class shows, the competitors have eight hours to create a cake that is an illusion or magic trick. Drawing a crowd right in front of Caesars Palace, the competitors have to share a stage with comedic magician, Nathan Burton, and perform a magic trick with their cakes. At judging panel, Nathan helps send home the competitor with the worst performance.

  • Living La Vida Vegas
A Sin City scavenger hunt with the remaining four competitors reveals their next exciting challenge: to create cakes for clients who have come to Las Vegas to celebrate something special. But it's first come, first pick in this scenario and only the swiftest will prevail. Midway through the competition, the competitors head to the blackjack tables for a twist that will have huge implications on who moves on to the finale, and who will go home at the end of the competition. Guest judge and pastry chef Gale Gand helps determine who will advance.

  • 100,000 Cakes
The final cake designers are ready to create an unforgettable wedding cake for an engaged couple. The cakes must be inspired by one of the themed wedding rooms at the world famous Little White Wedding Chapel. Just as the competitors think that they are have completed their final task, one more awaits: make a cake that tells the story of their one hundred thousand dollar dream. At the end of this marathon competition, one winning cake designer receives $100,000 and bragging rights because they have the Last Cake Standing.
