  • Terra Cotta, Heart Engagement, Rose Panel
The CakeGirls in Chicago get an order for an extra special Heart Engagement cake for two of their biggest fans. Given total creative freedom, Brenda takes a stab at making and designing this cake herself, and insists on having the most tenuous part of the cake suspended in the air for full effect. Mary's thrilled and excited by Brenda's urge to try something so challenging. Although they don't usually do deliveries, Mary and Brenda make an exception this time and deliver the cake to the engagement party, to the delight of the happy couple. At Christopher Garren's Cakes in the OC, Chris gets an order for a Rose Panel Wedding Cake, which is to incorporate the red, black, and white colors that make up the couple's color scheme. Never one to settle for the usual cake, Chris pushes his staff to create an epic pastry that weighs over two hundred and fifty pounds, complete with intricately painted paneling and rose detail work. The couple is speechless. Lauri at Cake Alchemy (NYC) is delighted to have an order for a Terra Cotta wedding cake, instead of the traditional boring white cake that so many brides opt for. When the bride calls and changes her mind, deciding on exactly what Lauri's trying to get away from (a boring white cake) Lauri has to grin and bear it, re-roll the fondant and deliver the cake that the customer wants.

  • Turntable, Barcelona, Garden
The CakeGirls in Chicago get a wedding cake order from a DJ who wants an exact replica of his turntable. The girls take on the challenge and create a life-sized exact replica of his equipment, complete with spinning records. When Lauri at Cake Alchemy (NYC) gets an order for a surprise engagement cake in the shape of one of Gaudi's most famous buildings in Barcelona, she feels like she's finally able to flex her creative muscles and create something that will really turn heads. In Los Angeles, Reva and Marc of Merci Beaucoup get an order for a garden-themed wedding cake. At the last minute the bride changes the design, ordering butter cream flowers instead of sugar flowers, giving Marc a chance to show off his butter cream expertise. With Marc's flower handiwork, the garden cake has an elegance about it that harkens back to an old-fashioned art form.

  • Super Hero, Art Deco, Coral
Reva at Merci Beaucoup Cakes meets with a couple who are comic books geeks who dream of an engagement cake that will encompass their passion for super heroes. There's no need to fear, Marc and Reva are to the rescue. Lauri at Cake Alchemy in New York City is confronted with the challenge of her first topsy turvy wedding cake. The couple was very specific in their desires-topsy turvey, elegant, a monogram and of course, Lauri's famous sugar balls. Christopher Garren's Cakes is confronted with couple's desire for an aquatic theme, more specifically a coral reef, with sea creatures and the like for their engagement cake. Yet Chris and his team are not quite satisfied with that challenge, they add sculpted figures of the engaged couple and a treasure chest suspended rather precariously over the cake. What could go wrong?

  • Cigar-Roo, Beehive, Art Deco
At Merci Beaucoup Cakes it's Marc's moment to shine as he creates a buttercream groom's cake that is a combination of the groom's favorite cigars and his surprise trip to Australia. Marc affectionately calls this the Cigar-roo cake. Cake Alchemy is overjoyed when they are presented with beehive design for an engagement cake. Lauri wants to test Stephanie and Melanie's abilities by creating a beehive suspended from a branch. Will their tree structure hold the twenty-pound beehive? Will it survive the delivery? The team at Christopher Garren's Cakes is about to usher in the art deco period in cake. And of course, Chris pushes his team to go bigger and better with a sculpted dancing couple, five-foot tall skyscraper and more piano keys than one can count.

  • Origami, Humidor, Cherry Blossom
At Merci Beaucoup Cakes Marc takes an order for an origami crane wedding cake. His first challenge is to talk the couple out of their original design. Then he must create a white chocolate crane. This is a real test of his artistic talent since he's never done this before. Cake Alchemy gets an order for a cigar humidor cake. Lauri has made this type of cake before, but you know Lauri she wants to make it better. So she assembles her team to take the cake to the next level. Christopher Garren's Cakes just received a wedding cake order that needs to reflect the elegance and simplicity of the couple's cherry blossom invitation. Will Christopher reign in his natural inclination to "go big or go home"? Will the simple design present new tests for Marjie, Lindsey and Hasung?

  • Fantasy, Arboretum, Retro Fabric
Christopher Garren's Cakes is in heaven with an order for a wedding cake that incorporates futuristic architecture design elements. This ain't your mothers wedding cake. Of course, Christopher just can't help himself and has to go way over the top with his vision. Lindsey, Marjie, Crystal and Hasung help him materialize his plan that keeps growing and growing to the height of six feet. What could go wrong? Let us count the ways. Merci Beaucoup Cakes receives a wedding cake order for an outside wedding. Marc "helps" with the design when he makes the bottom layer too big for the refrigerator. Now it's up to Reva to decorate a cake that has to be assembled on site - a dreaded situation for every cake decorator. The CakeGirls take an order for a wedding cake design that is inspired by the bride's favorite fabric design. Brenda wants to insure the bride gets the cake she wants. Mary wants to create the vision she sees. As always, it's a sister showdown with the cake in the middle.

  • Silent Movie Wedding Cake, City Girl Bridal Shower Cake, NYC Bridal Show
Merci Beaucoup Cakes get an order for a uniquely LA wedding cake. The cake must incorporate elements of the silent movie era for a pair of actors ready to tie the knot. Reva and Marc couldn't be happier with the design that will utilize each of their talents to the max. The Chicago CakeGirls get a bridal shower cake that plays right into their strengths. The bride-to-be wants a really girly-girl cake that's fashion centric. Mary immediately thinks designer purses, shoes and jewelry. Mary wants to push Ben into the decorating process a little more, so she asks him to paint the zebra design on the purse. Needless to say, Ben's going to need a little more practice until Mary will let him take on a cake by himself. It's show time in New York City and Lauri and Cake Alchemy are ready. New York Magazine Bridal Show is the place to showcase what's new and cool in weddings. So the bar has to be set high and the Cake Alchemy ladies have to clear it with room to spare. And that's just what they do with the Chandelier cake! It's got everything that makes the shop a stand out - a unique design, perfect fondant in an au current color and their trade mark blown sugar.

  • Lakers' Groom's Cake, Treasure Chest Bridal Shower, Lace Wedding Cake
Reva and Marc at Merci Beaucoup Cakes get an assignment to create a truly Los Angeles themed groom's cake - it must be all things Lakers. So this means it's got to be big, basketbally and purple and gold. Will the buttercream maven, Marc be up for this task? Will Reva meet the fondant challenge of the cake? Only time will tell. In the windy city, Mary and Brenda just got an order for a treasure chest bridal shower cake. Mary's swamped with other cakes so it's up to Brenda to step up to the cake. Will Brenda meet the challenge of the cake? Will Mary push Brenda to add just a bit more? Or will the sisters have another of their famous spats? Lauri and the girls at Cake Alchemy are ready to take on a very tall and very lacy wedding cake.

  • Peacock, Luggage, Bridal Show Chicago
Merci Beaucoup Cakes receives an order from one of their most loyal???and demanding customers for her wedding cakes. The bride-to-be knows exactly what she wants - a wedding cake that integrates a peacock theme into the design. So if Reva and Marc don't deliver on her demands they can definitely expect a call. Christopher Garren's Cakes is about to take on a customer who wants a very personalized wedding cake that will incorporate an over abundance of the couple's mementos from their world travels. Will Chris be able to balance his artistic vision with the clients' demands in order to create an elegant one of a kind creation? The CakeGirls prepare for an all-important bridal show. Brenda wants to make a cake that will represent what the shop does best. The only problem is that she's up to her neck with the business side of cakes. So it's Nicole to the rescue as she helps out on the cake.

  • Castle Recommitment Cake, Concentric Circles Wedding Cake, Tropical Flowers Wedding Cake
Christopher Garren's Cakes has what every cake salon strives for, the customer who ordered their wedding cake from the shop and now orders every cake from him. This time it's an anniversary cake. The couple wants a variation of their castle wedding cake. Of course, Chris has his own idea on how to make it even better than the last time. The CakeGirls are met with the challenge of making a retro 60s circle pattern for a wedding cake look au currant. Brenda suggests fondant, but Mary disagrees. So Mary creates a new way to create the mod circle pattern. Everything is going along smoothly... well almost. At Cake Alchemy Lauri is in her element with a wedding cake that's hexagon in shape, has color and a frenzy of flowers. Of course she is up for the challenge, once she figures out how to make all those exotic flowers.

  • Ascot Wedding Cake, Grass Anniversary Cake, Calla Lily Wedding Cake
Merci Beaucoup Cakes are faced with the challenge of creating an elegant and flowing wedding cake that takes much of its inspiration from the Ascot Races. It's all about feathers, lace and grace. Marc adores the bride's inspiration and wants to run with it. Reva simple wants to keep Marc on track with the design. They both want the best they can deliver. The CakeGirls get an order for a anniversary cake that must incorporate blades of grass in its design. Mary being Mary creates an incredible game plan that will utilize a special template. But alas, not all goes according to plan, in fact very little. So it's back to the drawing board as the delivery day draws near. Christopher Garren's Cakes is met with the task of creating a wedding cake that is masculine and has flowers. Any cake that tries to subdue Christopher's sense of design is in a bit of trouble. Will Marjie come to the rescue and rein him in?

  • Persian Groom's Cake, Luxury Car Engagement Cake, Lace Embroidery Wedding Cake
The CakeGirls get an order for a unique groom's cake that must look like a Persian fountain. First item on their list - find out what a Persian fountain looks like. Then it's onto all those tile pieces. Sounds like a job for Mary and Ben. Lauri at Cake Alchemy is delighted when a couple wants her to create a 3-D luxury cake for an engagement party. Lauri and Stephanie begin the huge undertaking that includes many elements and a very late night. Stephanie leaves the shop knowing the cake was done. But was it? Or, did Lauri just have to do some last minute touches? Christopher Garren's Cakes is given the task of incorporating the wedding dress design into an otherwise white wedding cake. Chris is very busy with bridal meetings so it's up to Marjie, Lindsey and you guessed it "Oh Interns" to pull off this cake.

  • Corset Wedding Cake, Chicago Themed Wedding Cake, Russian Wedding Cake
Christopher Garren's crew has to create a wedding cake that matches the brides dress. The dress has some beautiful pleating. Will they be able to replicate the fabric in time for the delivery? The CakeGirls get an order for a Chicago themed wedding cake. Brenda is taking the lead on this one. So how is she going to make an elegant cake that incorporates the Chicago skyline? Merci Beaucoup Cakes' challenge is to make a cake that looks like a Russian building. This is right up Reva's alley with all the fondant work that will be on the cake. Yet we're certain that Marc will lend a hand, or a laugh.

  • Renaissance Wedding Cake, Quilted Wedding Cake, Lavender Wedding Cake
The CakeGirls get an order for a simple white wedding cake. Of course this raises the question, "Is there really a simple wedding cake?" What seemed like an easy cake challenges Brenda when she starts to paint a quilted design. Marc and Reva get a dream wedding cake when a couple tells them they need the cake to be delivered to the Renaissance Faire. Reva and Mike are Renaissance fans having met at a similar event. All that needs to happen is to make a cake that captures the spirit of that time. Christopher Garren's Cakes just received a wedding cake order from a very eco-friendly bride. She wants a simple cake with flowers that are from the design of her invitation. This cake is right up Garren's alley.
