And on Oahu, Hawaii, the gas station joint fillin' up the locals with all sorts of island favorites like kalua pork and mahi mahi.

In Fall River, Mass., the Polish joint specializing in all kinds of pierogi, from cabbage and pork to mac and cheese. And in Providence, the cornucopia of Federal Hill begins at an old school spot that's passing out meatballs and fries, and the new school restaurant crankin' out totally fresh linguine and clams.
Flavortown Medley
Guy's diggin' into all kinds of fantastic flavors. In Memphis, the bar turned bistro offering low brow favorites like duck fried rice and Jack Daniels bread pudding. In Haleiwa, Hawaii, the food truck rocking out Thai short ribs and crunchy local shrimp. And in Baltimore, Guy revisits a joint firing up the grills for the signature taste of pit beef sandwiches.

Guy's on the road for some stellar food mashups. In Somerville, Mass., the burger joint putting the crowning touch on a mac and cheese burger. Guy's headed to the places where families rule. In Memphis, the kid-inspired joint serving up the serious fried chicken. On the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, the Thai spot where mom and pop spice up the island with pad Thai, pork larb, and the big seller: garlic fried chicken wings. And in St. Louis, the Italian-Greek joint run by two brothers, serving up a town staple in fried ravioli and mom's recipe for dolmathes.

Guy's diggin' into food made the right way. In Narragansett, R.I., the summer shack servin' up clam cakes cooked in beef fat and scratch made strawberry shortcake. In St. Louis, the neighborhood joint putting the smoke on cheesefries and delicious duck. And in East Boston, the family Mexican spot cooking up mom's chilaquiles recipe.

Grilled cheese and a porchetta dish are sampled at a British-style pub in St. Louis. Also: craft-made beers and shrimp-and-grits in Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; and pasta served with littleneck clams in Cranston, R.I.
