Chef John Besh can't believe it when she serves up her culinary concoctions, inspired by her childhood in the arctic region of Canada. Improv Gone Wrong It's a free for all when Gina starts cooking in the kitchen. Much to her husband Sean's dismay, Gina rarely follows a recipe. Even their twin toddlers refuse Gina's oily chicken teriyaki pasta and super sweet apricot pulled pork. Long Suffering Husband Kirstin is a busy mom who takes great pride in cooking for her two young kids and husband Vaughn. Little does she know that her family can't stand her overcooked dried out lasagna and bizarre purple glob of a dessert called cranbrosia. Funky Chicken Pamela loves to entertain but guests cringe at her rich and heavy dishes. Her cousin Bill claims her Cinnamon "Funky" Chicken tastes like a dessert and her Gorgonzola pasta drowns in blue cheese. Chef Besh attempts to lighten Pamela's heavy cooking. Bayou Botch Up It's a Cajun catastrophe when Rebecca and her boyfriend Colin start cooking. Colin's boiled fish and microwaved eggs are inedible and so are Rebecca's black-eyed peas. Chef John Besh will turn not only Colin's cooking around but surprises Rebecca too! Tacos vs. Latkes It's a culture crisis in this kitchen! Lily is Mexican and her fianc??? Nick is Jewish. Lily tries hard, but she can't cook either cuisine and it's driving Nick nuts! Nick is desperate for Chef John Besh's help before he ties the knot for good!
