All Revved Up Marcel and the team once again combine the intricacies of science and the creation of a household favorite, macaroni and cheese. They use a method of dipping a frozen rod with a creative design in order to form a noodle around the rod when it's dipped in a mind-blowing mixture. Unfortunately, the temperatures don't seem to allow for the final product Marcel and the team are looking for in order to serve a visually enhanced dish, and not just delicious tasting. Sink Or Swim Jarrid creates a centerpiece volcano that will erupt a pineapple saffron sauce that will ooze over short ribs. The device used to bring the sauce to the top of the volcano seems to be clogged and the sauce is too thick to travel through it, until Marcel helps Jarrid take a closer look. We're getting hungry already thinking about the pineapple mixed with short ribs! The Heat Is On An event honoring volunteer firefighters includes a makeover for the Los Angeles Fire Department Museum and a sampling of firehouse fare before Marcel whips up inside-out chili, baby back ribs and a carrot cake that resembles a camp fire. Race To The Finish Chrysler books an event for automotive design students, which has the team visiting Detroit to create a menu that includes an anti-gravity pizza, and a mishap forces Marcel to apologize to the guests.
